Abstract EN

This study aims at diagnosing the potential of Maghreb economies in order to achieve their financial integration which has become an urgent need that we can’t imagine the success of any effort for integration without it, particularly under current economic shifts.

We found that the Maghreb economies have huge potential to achieve their financial integration if they are able to face some challenges and obstacles which some are related to the prevailing economic and political conditions, others are related to their banking and financial systems themselves.

This requires adopting clearly stages to make this integration starting from financial coordination to the full financial integration
