Abstract EN

Concluded the current research, a geographical analysis of the levels of air pollution in the city Manathira , to assess the level of concentration of air pollutants in the city Manathira range of elements represented by mono carbon dioxide , dual carbon dioxide , formaldehyde , nitrous oxide , ozone , and sulfur dioxide .

And it adopted the device (gas detector - Drager CMS) to measure the concentrations of those elements of the 2014 and two periods , The first measurement of the separation of summer (July) , and the second in the winter (January) .

And elected five sites to conduct measurement for comparison purposes and spatial analysis.

Concentrations of elements have shown behavior in time and space mixed .

Elements have shown ( Co, Co2 , CH2O , No2 , SO2 ) High concentrations during the winter , as shown element (O3) High concentrations in summer .

Also exceeded Manathira city center high concentration of gaseous pollutants in it without the rest of the sites by focusing interdicts and industrial activities .

Most of the studied elements also exceeded health limits internationally.
