Abstract EN

This research discusses the jurisprudential rulings on the subject of divorce request and consultation thereof.

It includes an introduction and three themes.

The introduction demonstrates the reasons for divorce request, while the first theme tackles the rulings on the wife’s request for divorce, whether for a reason or for no reason, and the rulings concerning the divorce of a first wife by making the request a condition for marriage or just a mere request.

The second theme discusses the ruling on obeying the parents if they ask the son to divorce his wife, and the ruling on this request.

The third theme tackles the rulings on the request for divorce by the two arbitrators when there is a dispute between the spouses, as well as the request and advice for divorce from people other than the arbitrators, whether to be a request and advice from individuals or from family reform bodies and whether to be a request and advice for a reason or for no reason.

Finally, it concludes by mentioning the most prominent results.
