Biodiversity is essential in the process of ecological balance.

It contains different organisms such as plants and animals, and any damage to the biological diversity is a violation of an of the ecosystem components.

Therefore, many countries, including Algeria, seek to provide legal protection for these organisms.

And through this brief study, we tried to identify some of the regulations and legal measures organized by the Algerian legislator in order to preserve the rich biodiversity of Algeria.
