Abstract EN

Undoubtedly, the modern school curricula in Algeria tend to teach children the Arabic language according to their age, abilities and tendencies.

As the colorful images are psychologically tempting for children, educational experts in Algeria have designed colorful Arabic language books that are full of pictures and drawings as an educational tool that meets the educational need and provides availability while saving time, efforts and money.

In this research paper we seek to highlight the effectiveness of colors and images in the acquisition of language by the child using the Arabic language book in the primary process as a medium in the new curriculum (second generation curriculum).

So we have based our study on a descriptive approach, supported by examples of images contained in the book that directly affects this learning process.
