Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the effect of work stress on leadership, in municipal councils –in Jijel state".

The sample of this study consists of all the heads of the municipal councils in Jijel state; we conducted a survey of twenty –eight (28) mayors.

We have been using the questionnaire which is mainly used in order to collect the data, from relevant sources, to reach practical findings, statistical methods, were used to analyze the gathered data, as "Pearson" coefficient of correlation,(à)alpha (Anova)one way analysis of variance.

The data were analyzed using the Statistical Packages for social sciences (Spss V 22).

This study achieved the following results: It appears a positive correlation, statistically significant, in the impact of working pressure, on administrative leadership, of the heads of municipal councils, with correlation coefficient of “Pearson” (0.98).
