The study sought to clarify the symbolic significance of popular joke in Palestine and answer the question of why is the Khalili the hero of popular humor? To work on the study of this important aspect of our folklore and to reduce the suffering of the target person of humor in his daily practices and to provide information to serve decision-makers in taking positive steps in the formulation of public policy and the implementation of future plans to achieve adaptation to the personality of Khalili and meet his needs within the reality in which he lives in.publications, books, periodicals and archives of popular heritage centers.

Models of folk jokes were analyzed and their usefulness and educational value were identified.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: * Al-Khalili male is consideredas a scapegoat and hero of popular joke because of its location in the south and his actions which sometimes were unacceptable to others resorting to physical violence in solving the problems and competition of commercial high and was characterized by the spirit of adventure and described as naïve, foolish and trickery, but the Hebronite woman is far from the image becasee of the spread of jokes to all women in general and Hebron women did not have the appearance of Nabulsi, Chifuya, Yafuya and Jerusalemite women.

* The joke is the south of the silent silent, the picnic of the oppressed and the weapons of the marginalized of the areas of Bethlehem and Jerusalem, Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem and Qalqilya and it is intended to flatter, ridicule, criticize and show off its contradictions.

* The humor template shows contradiction, ridicule and mockery of the other.

Although the end of it is the smile and laughter, the recipient Khalili feels psychologically abused, and he swallows the sickle in order to follow the other.

The purpose of humor is to mock, ridicule and to show contradictions.

*The study also referred to a set of proposals, general recommendations, research and academic studies to complete scientific studies in this field
