The question of "what is the similar" is a common issue between three islamic sciences: the fundamentals of jurisprudence, the sciences of the Qur'an, and the doctrine.

It was addressed by Imam Ibn Qudaamah al-Maqdisi in his fundamentalist book "Kindergarden of the observer"; deciding that the similar is the text of the Sharia in the Divine attributes, this was denied by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shanqeeti in his book "memoir in jurisprudence" And discussed his evidences; indicating that the similar does not deal with the meanings of Divine attributes, but with its ways.
