Abstract EN

Algeria experiences a critical, decisive phase of its history made of political transition and economic openness.

As a consequence, the country faces several challenges in its post unrest situation to secure the political stability, build solid and reliable institutions and maintain a social balance.

This article aims to address three points: the developmental and democratic context and the impact they might have on the peace building and Nation-State establishment, then I address the rentier State crisis and its effect on politics and economy and finally, we’ll discuss obstacles hindering Algerian political stability and economic security
