The problem of contemporary religious discourse is among the thorny issues that the Islamic vmmah lias not been able to resolve or reconcile its multiple poles to the extent that it has led to intellectual clashes that have developed into violence and counter-violence.

in this paper, we would like to unveil the most important two distinct blocs that have swept the Islamic scene.

the debate between them has been fierce for some time now, and each of them sees himself and his entity' as right and others on the wrong side, the Sufis and salafis, and their respective references.
