The case of Arabization in Algeria has taken on more important and deeper dimensions than its neighboring countries; Tunisia and morocco.
during the French colonization, Arabic language was degrading a bit by a bit for its roots and bases have been almost lost, French language came as an alternative both in education and schools, administrations and economics, claiming that it was a language of evolution, keeping abreast of life of the society that was used in.
after the independence of Algeria, the voices calling for the renunciation of the French language and demands of the return of the Arabic language to normal have prevailed strongly.
within the context of this elite cultural and political debate, the Algerian school was the ground for this conflict that left us an unstable school background therefore, in this article, we shall attempt to address the problematic regarding the conditions and stages of the Arabization of the Algerian school after independence and the consequences it held.
