Abstract EN

This research aims at identifying self-monitoring among educational supervisors.

The research sample included (201) male and female educational supervisors in the provinces of (Basrah, Mayssan and Di Qar).

The researcher constructed a scale of 42 items.

Face validity, construction validity and stability of the scale were verified through test-retest and by extracting Pearson's correlation coefficient which was (0.883) with a significance level of (0.01).

The study concluded that there are no differences between males and females in terms of self-monitoring.

The researcher suggested conducting a similar study with another sample.

The researcher also recommended taking care of the role of the educational supervisor and activating his role in all schools including private ones.
