Abstract EN

This rearch paper on "Almazaraa and Their Political Role in Mombasa 1698- 1837 " contributed in revealing the history of Almazaraa trib, one of the Omani which arrived to the area during the era of Al-Imam Alyaarubi Seif Bin Sultan (the first) 1698 .They succeeded in establish an Arabic ruling family there, after clearing the place from the Portugues colonization .Following that ,Almazaraa engaged in along struggle against Albusaeedya State in Oman due to their constant claim of gaining independence and separation .

However ,that attempt was terminated by Sayed Saeed Bin Sultan 1837 which resulted in ending their influence there
