The goal of the search is to reveal the effectiveness of thinking maps in the development of self-regulation skills of learning for the preparatory stage students through teaching of family education.
In order to achieve this goal has been to identify the foundations of the teaching of family education using thinking maps in the development of self-regulation skills of learning, as well as the analysis of the content of family education in the first semester of first grade at preparatory school with a view to identifying the skills of self-regulation of learning , which can be developed through the content of the topics scheduled, and then the preparation of the list of self-regulation learning skills that could be developed in the preparatory stage students , and the preparation of the (measurement of self-regulation skills of learning in preparatory stage) and a survey of the views of professionals around it, and then the design of teaching and learning, and operations of arbitration, and the amendment in the light of the results of the arbitration, and setting the sincerity and consistency on the gauge.
Also teacher Manual has been prepared for teaching units of first semester of first grade junior secondary school in family education using maps of thinking for development of self-regulation skills of learning.
Research group consisted of (60) students of female students in first grade at preparatory school, (30) students in the Experimental Group, which studied by using thinking maps, and (30) students in the control Group studied by usual way.
The equality of the two groups has established, then the pre and post application of the Research tool on the two research groups, the results of research show Superiority of the Experimental Group than the control group proving the effectiveness of thinking maps in the development of self-regulation skills of learning to students at preparatory stage through the teaching of family education.
