Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the relationship between the school environment and mental health among mentally retardation students primary Al hassa, Saudi Arabia and also aims study to detect differences between male and female students in each of the variables of the school environment and mental health.

And composed the sample of the study of 133 students from the educable mentally retardation primary district Al hassa.

And the chronological ages between 8 - 14 years, and who intelligence coefficient ranges between 50 – 70.

This sample was divided into 57 male students and 46 female students.

Applied to them measurements of the school environment (by the researcher), and measurements of mental health (Elsayed, 2012).

This study resulted in existing a referring statistic positive relation between marks of the sample individuals according to the scale of school environment and their marks according to the scale of the mental health.

This study also resulted in existing referring statistic differences between male and female students in both school environment and mental health for the female.
