Today, man is living in a digital society connected via the internet, so the world has become like a small village.

Citizenship depending on the complete national sovereignty becomes in doubt.

As a result, the term "digital citizenship" appears, so countries-including Egypt- started to be concerned with this kind of citizenship.

For these reasons, the current study is concerned first, with identifying the meaning of digital citizenship; secondly, the contemporary challenges that arc required to educate the concept of digital citizenship; and thirdly, to discover the reality of digital citizenship according to the student- teacher at the Faculty of Women - Ain Shams University.

The study uses the descriptive method, and a questionnaire -applied to a random sample of the student- teacher at the Faculty of Women - Ain Shams University- to discover the reality of digital citizenship according to the usage of Face book by the individuals in the sample.

Finally, the study proposes a perspective to achieve digital citizenship education for the Faculty of Women students.
