Under the shortage of water in the Arabian region, there was a necessity to have a good management of the available water resources, and this study was to investigate the effects of using different levels of irrigation within drip system on the lettuce yield during 2012-2013 seasons.

Where three levels of irrigated water were applied /T1= 100%, T2 = 75%, T3= 50% of the amount of irrigated water, where irrigated treatment T1 at 80% of field capacity.

The results showed that amount had ranged between (130 to 271.3) m3 /dunum while the amount of water consumption ranged between (149 to 294) m3 /dunum during the two seasons respectively.

The amount of irrigated water, the total used water, the productivity and the average weight of the plant had different values in the studied treatments.

The treatment T2 had the best efficiency of irrigated water, which was (10.59 – 11) kg/m3 , and the best efficiency of the total used water of (9.83-9.45) kg/m3 during the two seasons respectively.

By comparing the productivity indicators, the results showed that the best productivity was belong to T1 treatment (25- 23.7) ton/ha, and the best weight of the lettuce head with (196-191) g, while the least productivity was in T3 treatment with (12.2 – 10.8) ton/ha, and with (118 -120) for the weight of the lettuce head during the two seasons respectively.

Economic feasibility study shows that the tratmment T1 that have received 100% of the amount of irrigated water was the best than T2 that have received 75% of the amount of irrigated water, to remain the tratmment T3 that have received 50% of the amount of irrigated water was losing.
