Motherhood is one of the essential elements of the individual's psychosocial development.

The child develops appropriate social skills and experiences within groups outside the environment where the child spends the longest possible time, showing responses to the type of care and the type of maternal treatment received in the family.

However, if the family is exposed to problems that lead to its failure to perform its educational task and ultimately deprives the child of natural maternal care and the natural family atmosphere, this may pose a problem of ensuring it.

Alternative care is one of the solutions adopted to help children avoid the most of these problems, among which are the alternative family in the children's village SOS So that the child is under the supervision of a mother trying to play the same roles as the biological mother towards the child that shepherds.

However, the child is not aware of maternal treatment in any case, which means that there is a difference between the actual mother treatment and the maternal treatment that the child is aware of.

Therefore, the current study aims to highlight the relationship between the perceived maternal treatment of children and their social status within the department.

Three categories of children are: children living in a permanent natural family, and alternative family children in the village SOS And the children of the center of childhood, which is medically active but communicate with their biological mothers and their natural families during holidays and events
