Abstract EN

This purpose of the study is to investigate the relations between attachement patterns and emotional intellegence found in adolescents deprived from their mothers in early age.

In fact the present study have been conducted on five (05) adolescents at age between 11 and 13, in the children village of Draria-Algiers.

To collecte data, a semi-direct interview was conducted, with the use of interview guide prepared by the two researchers, as well as the attachment scale of "Amira Aydy" 2008 and the emotional intellegence of "Ahmad Alwan".

To answer the research's questions, an analysis of content of the interview and the scales was conducted.

Indeed, the study's results demonstrates that the sample of adolescents who were deprived from their mothers in an early age have two types of attachement patterns: the secure attachement and the preocuppied attachement, and a high emotionel intellegence level compatible with safe attachement, and a low emotionel intelegence level compatible with preocuppied attachement.
