Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the difference in burnout among teachers of secondary school according to demographic variables (gender, seniority at work).

The Maslach Burnout Inventory was passed on a sample of 157 teachers, from eleven(11) secondary schools .

The study concluded that there is no difference in Burnout due to the gender variable, and the absence of a difference due to the variable of seniority in the work in the total of Burnout scale, while it was found that there are partial differences due to the variable of seniority in work in Depersonalization and Personal Accomplishment subscales, where the study showed that teachers with seniority "Twenty-five years and more" (25) suffer from Personal Accomplishment more than teachers with a seniority less than five years
