Abstract EN
The SME are a condition for economic recovery in order to increase the economic growth of the countries.
The majority of SME, in Algeria, was created during the period 1995-2000.
The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of SME on the economic growth in Algeria during the period 2001 - 2016, while controlling other factors affecting this growth.
The results of the estimation conclude that the contribution of SME to the economic growth is significantly positive, but remains low.

Les PME sont considérées comme le moteur déclencheur d’une relance économique visant à accroître la croissance économique des pays.
La majorité des PME, en Algérie, a été créée au cours de la période 1995 - 2000.
Le but de cette étude est d’analyser l’impact des PME sur le taux de croissance économique en Algérie durant la période 2001 - 2016, tout en contrôlant d’autres facteurs affectant cette croissance.
Les résultats de la régression concluent que la contribution des PME à la croissance économique est significativement positive, mais demeure faible
