English Abstract

The objective of this research is to define the requirements of enhancing the role of entrepreneurship in promoting tourism investment and increasing its effectiveness in the development of the tourism sector.

Therefore, we have conducted a descriptive and analytical study of the concept of tourism and investment and the factors controlling them.

In the light of the theoretical study we analysed the reality of entrepreneurship and investment in Algeria, and their impact on the indicators of tourism development which are represented by the number of tourists and tourism revenues and the level of recruitment.

After that, we identified the most important obstacles to tourism investment in Algeria, and then concluded with the most important proposals and recommendations for enhancing entrepreneurship in the tourism sector, and its importance for the promotion of tourism investment.
