Abstract EN

The study aimed to present the Algerian case in developing Arabic language through developing its teachers level, focusing on the criteria and the training strategies used to select/employ the teachers before and during their career, these criteria & training strategies have been taken from the education institution in charge - The study dealt with the main mistakes in the employment & training as well as comparing the Algerian experience with other countries experience – These mistakes led to a significant weakness in the level of the Arabic language teachers themselves, and their students accordingly (from the researcher’s perspective).

The study has been concluded with some suggestions for developing the level of the teachers and the level of the Arabic language in Algeria in general.
