Abstract EN

The knowledge of the meaning of the texts of the qur’aan and sunnah depends on the knowledge of the meaning of the wordsand the letters from all of them- on what they mean, if the subject of the scholars of jurisprudencial principls( Usul al-Fiqh) is the evidence of jurisprudence and the most important qur’aan and sunnah, then the topic of their research is a set of a clear arabic texts with meanings and can not be derive from the jurisprudent to derive legitimacy from them unless he had an understanding of the fundamentals of arab speach and its understanding of its purposes, and what is nessessary to know it : the meanings of letters.

Al-hafid Ibn Abd al-Barr link some pratical legal decisions on these letters, am limited to two letters : ( or), and( to), indicating how to link pratical rules to them.
