This study examines the subject of Adoption of the media to devote education and their uses in a Rational and useful way by family, especially with the growing seriousness of the downside and phenomenal content for modem technological means such as radios and televisions and New Media.

The local radio is an Educational institution That cannot be underestimated Especially with the census social and educational functions of the media in general.

.And because the radio does not have a specific listener they choose to draw its programming accounting all segments of this society.

The most important of these segments is the sensitive category of childhood 011 the one hand they still starching and from the other hand the child is able and N 011-Independent in screening what he gets from knowledge whether populist or academic or media .

This study try to answer the following question: How far does local radio “Setif' contribute to the consolidation of media education in the child through programs allocated to him?
