English Abstract

The right to health is considered as one of the fundamental social rights enshrined in human rights law.

This right has two-dimensions- the first is the individual dimension which represents the protection of the individual entity, whether it is related to the protection of his life or his physical and mental integrity, and the second is the collective dimension, which implies the obligations imposed by this right on the state in order to provide the citizens with public health insurance for all citizens.

The right to health is recognized in many international and regional conventions, as has been stipulated in the constitutions of most of the world countries within a range of economic, social and cultural rights.

The importance of this right is represented in two things: the first, being one of the fundamental rights enshrined in human rights law, and the second being associated directly with certain other rights, so that any human right regardless of the generation to which it belongs is closely related to the right to health This study aims to indicate what the right to health means and its importance, and to what extent is this right constitutionally recognized, and the limits of the constitutional protection by which it is privileged.
