Abstract EN

The medical profession is one of humanitarian, ethical, and scientific works, which obligate whoever practices it to respect humanity in all circumstances, and protect people's lives and their privacy, and provide every possible effort and care in their service and treatment, and not neglect in the performance of his work and duties, in case of deviation either neglecting doctor's duties or committing a medical error as a result of negligence during working, or not providing suitable care, it must apply three types of responsibility: disciplinary responsibility which follows with disciplinary punishment, civil responsibility which requires affected people by medical error to file legal actions and steps to claim compensation, and administrative responsibility related to a doctor who works in a public position and it had to apply disciplinary measures on him.

I also showed the concept of disciplinary crime, and procedures and safeguards related to disciplining the offending doctor that pointed out in the Palestinian civil service law.

I concluded the need of applying judicial system to discipline the employees in the medical field due to privacy of these professions, and enact a special law to discipline workers in the medical field.
