Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to examine perceived social support and its relationship with psychological security among divorcee in light of age and qualification.

The sample of the study consisted of (170) divorcee at Kafr Kassem region- Palestine in the second half of the year 2016.

To achieve the objective of the study, the perceived social support scale, and psychological security scale were used.

The results of the study showed that perceived social support and psychological security levels among divorcee at Kafr Kassem were moderate.

The results of the study found no statistically significant differences in perceived social support among divorcee at Kufr Qassin due to age, the results of the study found statistically significant differences in perceived social support among divorcee at Kufr Qassin due to qualification, in favor of university degree holders.

The results of the study also indicated no statistically significant differences in psychological security level among divorcee at Kafr Kassem due to age and qualification.

The results of the study found a statistically positive correlation between perceived social support and psychological security among divorcee at Kafr Kassem.

The study recommends the need for future support of perceived social support and psychological security among divorcee
