This study seeks to explore the role of the Internet as a new media in the process of political education for university students.

One of the main findings of the study is the limited and often weak role of the Internet in the political education of university students.

This is due to the belief among students that political participation is not useful, which makes them uninterested in the formation of political knowledge via the Internet.
