The biographical poem is one of the literary genres that attempts in the time of modern methodologies to search for its own poetic and to prove its presence in the reading space as a new literary genre.

It emerged from the overlap of two literary genres: poetry and biography, where the narrative axis in this new literary self-poet (Ego).

Perhaps the experience of the poet "Athmane Loucif" is among the most prominent experiences of modern Algerian poets, who embodied this literary genre through his own poetic works.

This approach attempts to research in the manifestations of thebiographical poem in the poetic texts of this poet, by clarifyingthe forms of the presence of the self-poet in it, while working on the most prominent manifestations of conscience and the autobiographical pact.
