أثر بعض المتغيرات الاقتصادية على عوائد أسهم بورصة عمان خلال الفترة 2000-2016

Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the effect of some economic variables on the shares of companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.

The study focused on the nature of the relationship between the index of stock prices, as a dependent variable, and some economic variables such as inflation, interest rate and money supply, as independent variables, during the period from 2000 to 2016, using Stepwise Regression Method to show the effect and relationship of each independent variable on price and stock returns.

The results of the regression showed that both of inflation and interest rate have an effect on the shares of the Amman Stock Exchange.

In the other side, the study showed that there is a lack of a significant relationship between the money supply variable and the stock returns on the Amman Stock Exchange
