Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using theatrical teaching in developing intellectual security concepts in Alhadith course for intermediate stage students in Riyadh.

The study used the descriptive design (depending on content analyzing) along with the quasi-experimental design which involves two groups: experimental and control.

The instruments of the study included: A list of intellectual security concepts that are implied in the content of Alhadith course of the intermediate stag, intellectual security concepts test, students and teacher guides.The sample of the study consisted of (57) students: (29) students in the experimental group and (28) students in the control group.

A pre-posttest was applied to the same sample before and after implementing the study.The results of the study revealed This confirmed that using theatrical teaching is effective in developing and enhancing the students' intellectual security concepts at intermediate schools in Riyadh.Therefore, it was recommended that it is important to concentrate on developing the students' concepts that are related to the intellectual security by employing modern teaching methods, such as the theatrical teaching, that are capable of developing and enhancing them.

The study also confirmed the importance of training religion teachers on the effective ways of using theatrical teaching to cultivate and enhance their students' intellectual security concepts.
