Abstract EN
The aim of the research is to find out the impact of social networks on students in the development of academic achievement in research and information sources for the secondary stage.
Within an interview tool, one of the main ways to collect information in qualitative research, is a set of open-ended questions to guide the interaction (offered to teachers in each of the 10 schools) to record their observations on the usage of social networks in promoting the educational process.
The research sample is limited to 10 teachers in 10 schools in Al Medina Al Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The number of students is 300 students.
(The research sample was selected in an anaerobic manner to correspond to reality).
As for the results of the research, it showed the strength of the interaction of students with teachers and increase the proportion of their response through participation in social networking sites in addition to achieve high rates in the proportion of academic achievement in the research material and sources of information for the secondary stage.
Where it became clear that the social networking sites have achieved motivation to creativity, as students interact to excel and achieve higher ratios and better grades with teachers.
The school also helped to follow the educational level of students along with the high contribution of social networks in helping the teacher to touch the areas of failure of students in the subjects
