Our work focuses on the imaging Of the human soul in the popular North African culture.
We Will try through a corpus collected from the Berber Algerian and Moroccan soil, "The Storm Bird" Of TAOS AMROUCHE (Paris: Maspero, 1996), "Love Kaftan spotted passion" Of Mr.
El Fasi and Dermenghem (Paris: Rieder, 1926) to show the thread symbols how riparian peoples Of the Mediterranean especially Maghreb represented the soul? It seems that from his appearance on earth, humanity has shared the firm conviction Of being With a substantial soul constituting its essence, divine in nature, therefore immortal.
TO dismantle the mechanisms Of our Story, retriever in at least some Ofthe lost keys, we Will stick in the review Of our statements to the hierarchy Of the great symbols from their wealth Of meaning • hierarchy Which, be it noted, does not always correspond to the order Of the narrative.

Notre travail s' articule autour de l'imagerie de l'âme humaine dans la culture populaire Maghrébine.
Nous essayerons à travers un corpus recueilli du terroir berbère Algérien et marocain, « L Oiseau de l'orage » de Taos Amrouche (Paris : Maspero, 1996), « Caftan d'amour tacheté de passion » de M.
el Fasi et Dermenghem (Paris :Rieder, 1926) de montrer par le fil conducteur des symboles comment les peuples riverains de la méditerranée en particulier ceux du Maghreb se représentaient cette âme ? Pour démonter les mécanismes de notre récit, en retrouver au moins quelques-unes des clés perdues, nous nous en tiendrons, dans l'examen de nos énoncés, à la hiérarchie des grands symboles d'après leur richesse de signification, - hiérarchie qui, remarquons-le, ne correspond pas toujours à l'ordre de la narration.
