Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the relationship between academic procrastination and all of self-efficacy and future anxiety among a sample of Damascus University students and to find out whether there are any significant differences in academic procrastination and all of self-efficacy and future anxiety regarding gender and between literary and science students.

The sample of the study consisted of (300) students of whom)121) male and )179(female students.

The researcher used Academic Procrastination, self-efficacy and future anxiety scales which were developed by the researcher.

Validity and reliability of the tools were verified.

Results showed that there was a significant positive correlation at level (0,01) between academic procrastination and all of self-efficacy and future anxiety.

The results revealed significant differences between the means of academic procrastination, and future anxiety among male and female students in favor of males.

No significant differences between the means of self-efficacy were found.

Also, it does not have an important role for the interaction between the academic procrastination and all of self-efficacy and future anxiety in favor of academic specialization and it can predict academic procrastination through academic self- efficacy and future anxiety.

The researcher interpreted these results in light of the collected Data and the reviewed literature and previous studies
