The aim of this study is to highlight the positive and negative effects of social networking sites on the scientific level of university students and their relation to gender, age, school level, marital status, access rate, hours of employment, usage, The information they receive through the websites and their desire to continue using these sites.

In order to achieve these goals, the study used the questionnaire and the individual interview with the students themselves as a tool to collect the required data.

The sample of the study reached (480) students.

The sample was withdrawn from five faculties: Pharmacy, Science, Pure Education, Literature and Law.
