Abstract EN

Praise and blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Mohammed, His family and companions.

Our nation has been honored by having Mohammed, the best of mankind, and by having had the honor of transferring His Sayings (Hadiths), provided that everything has been documented.

Transfer and documentation has been paid much attention to by all Sunna scientists, and Hadith collectors and narrators.

Based on this, the research has tackled this aspect in this paper to serve the Prophet’s Sunna.

He selected one figure of Hadith narrators, namely Imam ibn Warah.

The aim is to collect his sayings, which are scattered in different and several books, bibliographies, and other sources, as no one has collected them before, either perfect or imperfect sayings.

He has done the best in collecting these sayings from these different sources, showing all the agreeing and disagreeing statements with Imam ibn Warah.

The paper is divided into four sections: an introduction, two investigating sections and a conclusion.

The introduction introduces the research.

Section two defines ibn Warah, identifies his teachers, his students and his work.

The third section tackles his sayings in the Men of Hadith, narrated by/in the Nine Books, comparing these sayings with those of other scientists of Hadith.

The research concludes with some results of the sayings of Imam ibn Warah and recommendations of devoting a dissertation to studying and deeply investigating Imam ibn Warah, and his works.
