Abstract EN

This study aimed to examine the relationship between optimism and pessimism and life satisfaction in a sample of university students, and detecting differences between students on optimism and pessimism and also life satisfaction depending on the type of residence (resident - non-resident).

The study was conducted among (100) student (50) in university residences and (50) Non-resident students.

The results of the study are: - There is a significant statistical correlation between optimism and pessimism and life satisfaction among students.

- There are no significant differences between resident and non-resident students in optimism and pessimism.

- There are no significant differences between resident students and non-resident in the life satisfaction
