Abstract EN

This study revealed that spatial planning and urbanism in municipalities follow a standard methodology to show what is found, what is missing and what is intended, within the framework of a plan supported by captioned cards.

However, in spite of what they contain, plans do not take into account characteristics and specificities of each city and as a result, ambitions exceed means.

In addition, many gaps and ambiguities, as well as the choice of French as the unique used language, led to a certain reserve and non-respect of these plans, besides of transmitting our problems to the future generations.
