Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to know the nature of kinship ties in the Algerian family under the impact of incoming culture and the changes that have affected the society.

To achieve this goal, a sample of 60 families from the 300 housing units (town of Boussaâda) was chosen.

Using the questionnaire as a data collection tool, the study found that kinship ties become negatively altered compared to those in extended families whose culture is conservative and inspired by the religious culture of Algerian society.

Finaly, the study proposed a number of recommendations.
