Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the work values system of the graduated of the students at the university of laghouat, through a field study on a sample of 40 students, we used a questionnaire to determine the values of work, it was composed of job security values, material and economic values, social values, and self-developing and upgrading values.

it is also aimed to know the vizualization and realisation of the university students of the work vales, and the self-competency level obtained by the university graduated.

through our study, we found that the university graduated student or the one who is about to graduate is not aware of his ability to deal with stressful life situations in the current period of unemployment and some jobs that do not conform to his academic specialities, and also his inability to choose what suits his abilities and qualifications.

we also noticed that he has a lack of self-confidence and he is not able to take in charge the social responsability.

therefor, the university student shows a high level of concern of the future and low self-competency.
