Abstract EN

This study tries to highlight the importance of using linguistic games in teaching vocabulary items in languages in general, and in Arabic for non-native speakers of Arabic in particular.

the researchers try to present a proposal to use linguistic games in teaching Arabic vocabulary items for students in the elementary, medium, and advanced levels.

games provide an interesting and entertaining atmosphere for students to learn.

moreover, they facilitate language acquisition in an ordinary functional way.

this study uses the descriptive and practical methodology for analysis in order to test the accuracy of the hypothesis that linguistic games increase the success in teaching vocabulary of Arabic language for speakers of other languages, because of their physiological benefits which reflect on the student’s linguistic and personal performance.

however, the learner should be aware of the purpose of the game.

he should understand that the game is not only for entertainment but also for learning in an interesting atmosphere.
