Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze one of Abdelkarim al-Qaisi al-Andalusi’s poems “I havestrong passion for some folks who haven’t maintained it” to reveal the poet is suffering due to the injustice that has been inflicted upon him.

it also aims to portray the emotions that seized the poet when his tavern, was burned viciously.

the study reads the poem analytically, studying the effect of the poet’s choices at the various is linguistic levels : phonetic, syntactic, lexical, and semantic and the way they convey the poet suffering to the reader.
