Transnational organized crime is a challenge for security and judicial services in terms of monitoring, follow-up and investigation, due to its confidential nature, as well as the accuracy of operations and the use of the latest methods and techniques in carrying out their activities, as well as the extension of its activities that cross borders and its link with foreign elements benefiting from the policy of globalization and free trade and openness, for that the countries have recently rushed to find ways to deal with this scourge, based on international cooperation and on the strengthening of research and investigation procedures known as "special investigation methods" "and in spite of these procedures and their effectiveness, they raise several issues, in particular those affecting individual freedoms.
