This article attempts to identify the concepts of religious tolerance in the two monotheistic religions: Christianity and Islam; Which have major impacts on the contemporary religious and cultural scene; While the cultural interaction between these two religions has been historically characterized by positive and negative characteristics.

We can formulate the problem to be solved in the following question : «What are the real constraints that caused the great differences between the reality of religious texts in each religion and, the historical events that characterized the civilizational interaction between Muslims and Christians, in terms of tolerance or violence? What can we draw from positive prospects accordingly? "
