The establishment of the ten years insurance in the Algerian legislature has to rely on the tremendous development witnessed in the domain of construction as well as the expansion of urbanization.

the increasing number of threats that dragged into this business require the intervention of the legislature in finding solutions through the distribution of the burden of these dangers because of the seriousness and the difficulty of reparation failure of the consequent damages.

from this point, Algerian legislature in the field of construction obliged the whole interveners in the construction domain to ensure their ten years responsibility in order to protect the building , the entrepreneur and the successive owners from any demolished whole or in part, and even damages in the structural elements that threaten the safety and durability of construction.
