The birth and grouth of the oil industry had a notable role in the quickly degradation of the environment and the spread of contaminants, and from accidents and routine activities that accompany extraction exploitaion and transportaion of oil, up to waste resulting from oil consumption.

this research is based on the dialectic relationship between tho parties, oil and the environment, where this paper came to discuss oil pollution sources , as a result, the rationing of petroleum activities and the imposition of a carbon tax will affect the change in oil prices, and the quantities of oil consumed.
