Abstract EN

The study aimed to assess the level of consumer awareness and rationalizing consumer behavior in Medea, and find a relationship between them.

To fulfill the purpose of the study,we prepared a questionnaire, and after making sure of the sincerity of the tool and its persistence, formed the sample of 482 consumers who have an income, and their level of education elementary at least, the results showed that the level of awareness in the city of Medea average, and that the level of rationalization of consumer behavior is high,and weak correlation between consumer awareness and rationalizing consumer behavior, and that there are no differences due personal variables (sex, educational level, income level, age) for both dimensions, except social situation where there are differences due to this changing in favor of married couples variable.
