the study aims to identify the relation between educational communication and self-esteem among third year secondary students by adopting linking discriptive approach, the study samples consisted of 180 male and female students who were chosen at random, and to achieve the objective of the study, there was two tools used, educational outreach questionnair and self-esteem measure prepared by researcher "Lecooper smith" the statistical treatment has been treated using tge statistical program(SPSS20) and the following statistical methods : averages, Pearson correlation coefficient, leavin test , the (T- TEST ) concerning two independent samples homogeneous and non-homogeneous, In the end, the study gave the following results : .there is a relation between the emotional communication and self-esteem among the third year secondary students.

.there is a relation between the communicational knowledge and self-esteem among the third year secondary students .there is a relation between the social communication and self-esteem among the third year secondary students.
