Stereotype constitutes the essence of public relations.

in fact, it has gained an enormous weight in an era of globalization, modern technology, and sharp competitiveness.

stereotype is present everywhere, in media, politics, economics and education.

it aims to earn the loyalty of others through earning their trust, respect and satisfaction.

based on this, governments and companies work on shining their image, as they are aware of the importance of stereotype in achieving their goals.

the present work will introduce the concept of stereotype, its formation, its functions and its characteristics.
